Silent

The stillness brims with reflections
thoughts churn sienna on white plains
'Tis an empty mind that overflows
a dry parched earth despite the rains.
Desires, woes and other landfill
buried, sleeping, raise heads in dreams
Seeking a voice, a chance at the real
yet slip into coma, an eerie in-between...

The stillness whispers secrets, pastels in charcoal
and fades humming quiet, true to a lost soul.
View

Mist as far as the eye can see
Kissed by sunshine carelessly,
Her cheeks pinched rosy, her touch chilled
In she sashays, with breeze in her frills.
Dew drop dimples shimmer sweet, forlorn
Breathe afresh, 'tis now a new dawn
